Mark Cuban is embroiled in another spat with Elon Musk which has seen the two billionaires exchange jibes on Musk’s social media platform X, formerly Twitter.
On Sunday night, Musk replied to a clip of Cuban’s interview with CNN host Erin Burnett on October 17, in which Musk was wearing eye glasses.
Musk wrote, “Why did he steal @maddow’s glasses?” tagging MSNBC host Rachel Maddow.
Cuban then replied, “I know you can’t get me out of your head @elonmusk. Time to stop thinking about me, find a friend and take the blue pill.”
Cuban added a link at the bottom of the post to his online pharmacy company Cost Plus, which opened to a tab on his website where an online shopper can purchase Viagra.
Newsweek has contacted Cuban and Musk via email for comment.
It followed a previous interaction between the pair after Cuban revealed in an MSNBC interview on Sunday that he had attempted to set up a meeting between Elon Musk and Kamala Harris.
Cuban said that Harris’ staffers “didn’t trust that [Musk] wouldn’t go on X and say something to distort the purpose of the meeting.”
Musk responded on X, saying; “I’m happy to have a live discussion, so there can’t be any ‘distortion.’ That would be so awesome. Please can we do this. Pretty please.”
Shortly after, Cuban replied, “Wrong choice of words on my part.. Happens during a live interview.. Better choice would have been disclosure’,” He added, “Would you like to do a private meeting if she wins?”
Cuban’s TV interviews come as the billionaire was campaigning for Kamala Harris in key swing states Arizona and Michigan, which marked the first time he joined the campaign formally, despite him being a frequent critic of Donald Trump and an advocate for Harris on social media. Musk meanwhile, has been outspoken in his support and endorsement of Trump.
The two have frequently exchanged jibes, and Cuban has even warned Musk about his loyalty to Trump, saying in an X post that, “at the point you need him the most, you will find out what so many before you have learned, his loyalty is only to himself.”
Last month, Cuban also offered Musk some unsolicited business advice, and confronted him after Musk called out his support for Harris.
Most recently, Cuban weighed in on Musk’s plan to give away $1 million prizes to people who signed a petition, which caused Cuban — among others — to question whether it constituted illegal gambling.
